Who doesn't want the most people healthy? It is HOW they should have access. Jesus did not practice socialism because he did not offer his healthcare (what you nonchalantly label his miraculous power) through the government. He healed privately, that is, on his own. It was without government consent or endorsement. It was not a government program which forced entry and payments from others. In fact he only gave the power to heal to those who followed him (Luke 9 & 10). The Bible never endorses forced payment into a governmental healthcare program. Suspect also for the health decline of FDR from then & even for his death when President. Many people are harmed by glycol ether, but other things are blamed. People don't complain about "socialism" when their mail is delivered, they collect unemployment benefits or use Medicare services. Health care for ALL is what Jesus wanted and PRACTICED Himself. Imagine if he had checked financial status and pre-existing conditions before healing the sick. This is a straight up ethical issue and Christians need to put their money where their mouths are.
