Thanks much for your transparency on the pain of your divorce. It brings back many memories. So glad that your friends helped you to cope and I’m so very sorry that too many believers need grace-education. Christians sure can shoot their wounded at times.
I just wanted to say that I appreciate the vulnerability with which you wrote about your personal travails with divorce. And putting it on the front page, even! I think God works through his children that are open with the scars in their lives; how else can others dealing with the same issues receive healing through the Body of Christ if they don't know who can help them?
And I would just say that God can work his purposes through any vessel he chooses, and I think you and Jackie have a wonderful ministry there. I keep pace with as many online Christian news organizations as I can to keep on the lookout for U.S. Christian tourist attraction information, so I have seen my share of sites and you two have one of the best.
Just know that there are many believers like myself that are encouraged by your transparency, and we don't see scarlet letters when we look at you...just a Christian brother.
I received an email from somewhere describing your awesome experience in Haiti and how God altered your flight plans so precisely!
I just want to encourage you to continue being His eyes and ears in the nations of the world. I feel so strongly prompted by His Spirit to proclaim God's satisfaction over your work and that He will always make a way for you in future events. You will be moved around by His miraculous intervention as He has ordained you to bring His Presence and His mind into hopeless situations!
Be blessed as I continue to pray for you, your loved ones and your assignments.
I am sorry for sending this to the wrong person, but I just wanted everyone in your office and organization to know that my family and I are loving the new format. Please keep up the good work, and keep sending the emails.
